This test may not be mandatory as of yet but that doesn’t mean that it is less valuable or not important in your career. The truth is, despite the certification exam not being a pre-requisite of employment as a pharmacy technician majority of the employers prefer those who were able to pass the certification. Who wouldn’t hire an applicant who doesn’t have a single absence, late or incident report from previous employers? So if you want to be in this type of career don’t just get busy acquiring all the skills and knowledge. Take time to prioritize other things that matters because despite of all the requirements for this career it also takes an extra mile to have a good and pleasing personality.
